Didnt read this, but what I have been talking about on the
list lately is directly related to an individuals Abilene
Paradox:

We
take off on something because it serves something, yet the
means may actually be inefficient, ineffective and
unsustainable for long term happiness...
Helpful Hint: There seems to be a "good
reason" why this pulls us in...such as a war which immediately
starts to limit "leadership options" and how the sunk "costs"
suck us further into the "paradox."
Action Step: LEARN to use Systems Dynamics!
As a part of "CBSLRVS" Dynamics @F-L-Oo-W, the tendency to
resist the gravity of the Abilene Paradox is enhanced
